The view looking down on Foote Green from the ferris wheel set up last Friday as part of Canes Carnival.  The event, planned by the campus entertainment organization Canes Night Live, itself functioning under the umbrella of Hurricane Productions, gave students one last chance to relax and enjoy themselves at the conclusion of classes for the 2012-2013 school year and before the start of reading days and finals.

The event, organized by students Robert Pursell and Lindsay Rosen, paired 30 students with 100 children with disorders on the autism spectrum for a day of fun and games on the Foote Green. The Yellow Team, composed of the sorority Delta Phi Epsilon and the fraternities Sigma Phi Epsilon and Alpha Epsilon Pi, ended the philanthropy week in the runner-up position to the White Team, composed of the sorority Alpha Delta Pi and the fraternities Phi Delta Theta and Lambda Chi Alpha.
